WORLD TRAVEL:

I’ve traveled around the world including Japan, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Brazil, Venezuela, England, Ireland, France, Germany, Monaco, Spain, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Canada, the Caymen Islands, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Sailed to the Islands of Tortola, St. Thomas, St. John and Virgin Gorda, and Key West. I’ve also sailed across the Equator, crossed the entire North Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, Tyrrhenian Sea, and been to the US Mile 0…

JAPAN
In Japan, I sang karaoke with the locals, I celebrated my 21st birthday in a Sake Factory with my best friends, I saw a real Japanese puppet production, saw the Kinkakuji or Golden Pavilion in Kyoto, went to the first Japanese city of Nara, Feed Deer in the Buddha’s Park, went to Gion-san, Kiyomizudera, saw Japan’s largest Buddha, the Largest Wooden Buddha and its largest Black Buddha, visited the Kyoto Imperial Palace, participated in a traditional Tea Ceremony and saw the Konsai Cousins…

CHINA
In China, I saw the Forbidden City, witnessed the most incredible circus in the world, ate a full Peking Duck formal dinner including every duck dish put in front of me, entered the Forbidden City, saw the 8th wonder of the World ‘The Terracotta Warriors’, and hiked the great wall of China…

HONG KONG
In Hong Kong, I went shopping. As far as I could figure out from where we landed that’s all there was to do there anyways… Playboy, Hello Kitty, The Hard Rock Café and electronic stores are all I remember… just lots and lots of shopping…

VIETNAM
In Vietnam, I was given a massage by a blind woman, I ate a 4 star dinner at the top of the Rex Hotel, I visited the town my father was stationed in during the Vietnam War and talked to the locals about his experience, saw the War Memorial, saw the largest white stone Buddha in the world, got rides all over while drinking Tiger beer, canoed and swam in the bluest waters, played darts at a fake Hard Rock café, and ate frog legs…

THAILAND
In Thailand, I taught English to school children, slept in a field under a tarp with a family of eight, ate live squirming fish salad, been given a shower with freezing water buckets by a woman in her late 90’s, went Para-sailing at sunset over an ocean filled with thousands of pink jelly fish, went snorkeling again and ate a yummy fresh food lunch at an island restaurant, drank milk out of a Coca Cola bottle and cried over the spiciest Thai food ever imaginable…

INDIA
In India, I saw spent 8 hours in a taxi driving passed elephants on the road, saw sunset at the Taj Mahal, lost $200 in a jewel scam, donated books and toys to the local children who lived where the Black Taj was supposed to have been built, I ate the most delicious food where all of the flies in the world seem to vacation, I saw a snake charmer, I performed a play with our Touring Theater company at a local school, and spent a whole day hanging out looking at fabrics with the girls who worked at a traditional Indian clothing shop…

KENYA
In Kenya, I volunteered at the Mother Theresa home for the handicapped with special needs, I visited a school where everyone with aids wore a red sweater and I cried because everyone… was wearing a red sweater. I learned how to cook economy size from my home stay mother Dorothy, and played basketball with the kids who lived in her village, I saw the Black Rhino reservation, a lake pink with flamingos, and a leopard snoozing in a jungle tree while on safari…

SOUTH AFRICA
In South Africa, I hiked to the top of Table Mountain, drank a cocktail that tasted exactly like cotton candy, visited a tin wall village, volunteered at a local high school and talked to the kids about AIDS, women’s right and safe sex, I saw a school dance show and was floored by their choir performance, I stayed at a bed and breakfast danced to marimba music on the wharf…

BRAZIL
In Brazil, I danced in a street parade, had one of the street children fall asleep in my arms while sitting on some church steps, turned a child in to juvenile detention for knifing my ex-boyfriends pants off and stealing his camera and wallet, set sail for Morro De Sao Paolo where I slept on the beach, slept in a hammock, picked a coconut off a tree, and went cliff diving…

VENEZUELA
In Venezuela, I browsed the local art galleries and shops and then hopped on a ferry for Margarita Island where I went snorkeling, ate fresh oysters fried on the beach side, and relaxed on the beach after having spent the entire semester touring the world…

ENGLAND
I saw the Crown Jewels, dad bought me a tiara so I would always be his princess, we saw the changing of the guard, toured a castle and a palace, and had High Tea at Harrods and crossed the English Channel…

IRELAND
In Ireland, I visited my namesake country, laughed so hard I cried, drove around a round-about at least 5 times with my mom, ate at a true Irish Pub and kissed the Blarney Stone…

FRANCE
In France, mom and I bought fancy French dresses, saw the Louvre and the Mona Lisa, kissed a street mime, we then went to the Moulin Rouge show and had dessert at a fancy restaurant at midnight, and saw the Eiffel Tower…

SPAIN
In Spain, I saw sunset in the Goudi Gardens, toured the Castile de Familia, picnicked at the most incredible artists park I’ve ever been to anywhere…

ITALY
In Italy, I saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa, had the best pizza in the world, saw the David, every important monument written about in Dan Brown’s Book Angels and Demons and the Da Vinci Code, had lunch in St. Peters Square, stared up at the famous ceiling painted by Michelangelo, saw the Coliseum

MONOCO
In Monaco, I gambled in the most extravagant casino, walked on the beach, walked on the Ferrari International raceway, saw the changing of the Monaco Royal Guard and spent hours tasting fruit from the street market…

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
I’ve been to 34 states including Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

K-12
In eighth grade I traveled to Washington D.C and saw the White House, the Smithsonian, Arlington National Cemetery, the Iwo Jima Memorial, The Vietnam Wall, the Lincoln Memorial, the Holocaust Museum… in High School, I learned how to take pictures and develop my own film, how to turn a wood 2×4 into a horse head, made a stain glass window, learned charcoal sketching, acrylic painting, spent time on a Native American reservation and participate in their sweat lodge, smoke peyote, went on a Vision Quest, learned to bullshit, sold more GoldC coupon books door to door than anyone else, had a long distance relationship, fell in love, learned how to survive going to school with a girl my boyfriend practically kidnapped from Germany while on exchange, then learned how to forgive him, how to fall in love again, tried smoking pot and it wasn’t for me, smoked a cigarette and learned the effect wouldn’t be worth the price, got drunk and sang musical theater songs on a table at my first ‘cool’ party, ran away once, snuck out, snuck back in, told my mom almost everything, lost my virginity, went to four proms, one homecoming and one winter dance, rode a motorcycle, slow danced, and played in a band.

ARTISTIC SCHOOLS:
I grew up in the Waldorf Education school system K-12, was home-schooled in the same philosophy for a year and a half by my mother, I attended three summers of Musical Theater workshops at Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, one summer of theater/music/dance classes at Carnegie Mellon University, a summer of dance/music at Perry Mansfield, six years of theater/music at the Tara Performing Arts School, four years of Dance at DanceWest, 2 years of tap at Dance Dimensions, one summer of drama techniques at the Denver Center of Performing Arts Theater school, I graduated from the Barbizon Modeling School in Denver, sang with the Boulder Revels choir and took 10plus years of private voice.

COLLEGE:
I graduated on time with a degree from Berklee College of Music in Music Business Management and I’m only 16 credits short in labs and 4 in Music Science from a second degree in Performance Voice. I was President of Heavy Rotation Records, I started a successful Band Booking and Promotions company in Boston that generated a positive cash-flow as a college project, I transformed the Bulfinch Yacht Club into a happening music venue, I maintained a full-time job while taking 22 credits in college, I also did promotion jobs during that same period of time and maintained my A/B average in everything except Arranging and Math. I got to visit at least 20 record labels and music publishing houses in NYC while I was a member of the Music Business Association at my school. I sang in a band, sang in a commercial, did voice-over work, and modeled for the Dynasty Agency on Newbury…

EXTENDED EDUCATION:
I’ve learned graphic design, photo-editing and Adobe Suite basics from The Art Institute of Colorado, how to invest through the Rich Dad Poor Dad Real Estate Investing 3 day coarse, how to sell Door to Door from the Coral Group, I graduated from the Van Ed Real Estate School with a license to practice in Colorado, studied Multimedia Graphic Art and Entertainment Industry Studies at the University of Colorado at Denver, took additional classes in music at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston, and took general education and international studies from the University of Pittsburgh through the Semester at Sea World Tour Program

THEATER:
I’ve been in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, West Side Story, The Music Man, Carousel, The Sound of Music, The Secret Garden, Giovanni, The Fortune Chest, Some Random German Play, scenes from Antony and Cleopatra and starred in Oliver as the Dodger, The Matchmaker as Irene Malloy, Guys and Dolls as Sarah Brown and I was the Lead Singer for the Touring Theater company during my Semester at Sea.

Bought a horse and started riding again, spent a week per year on vacation with my mom, had laser hair removal, started ballroom dance classes, quit a job I didn’t love, started my own business, learned craps-blackjack-poker and won, sang on stage to a room over more than 100 people, learned the sign-language alphabet, shot a bow and arrow, thrown a discuss, acted on stage with my dad, helped someone in need by housing a homeless couple for a month in my home, dated a rocket-scientist, learned a cool magic trick, seen the Mona Lisa, lived through four colorful seasons in a year, flown a kite, tried vegetarianism, meditated at the Shambhala center, hit the bulls eye on a dartboard, flown in a helicopter over the Badlands, seen Mt. CELEBRITIES:
I’ve shook shaken hands at my graduation with Aretha Franklin and Melissa Etheridge, I’ve partied in Hollywood with Beyonce, Imogen Heap and John Meyer and The Scissor Sisters while in Florida. I’ve attended the Grammy’s in a Ralph Lauren ball gown, I’ve drank Absinthe in Canada next to White Stripes, turned their manager down when he invited me home, I’ve met Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Adolfo Perez Esquivel and Rigoberta Menchu-Tum…some things I probably can’t mention :)
